LindaSF07 NetWe have been traveling by pet  and house sitting in Europe for the past 4 years.  It has been an incredible experience.  This year we were all planned out for the summer in England but alas, a pandemic changed all that in an instant.  So now I am home bound and will be working on journals, new art projects, and posting easy tutorials.  If you want to see what our adventures have been in the last 4 years you can look at our travel blog;  www.seniorgapyear.wordpress.com

I hope to use this blog to bring my friends news about my art, my photography and my life.  I will be posting free tutorials that show easy techniques to do mixed media collage.  The emphasis will be on the word EASY.  I often try to follow a tutorial and I get lost ( which is not a good feeling).  So simple , easy to follow directions is what I like and I hope you do too.  I have been experimenting with mixed media collage techniques now for a couple of years .

I also want to share some of my photographs with you.   I love to take landscapes , nature and animal photographs.  I have been lucky to have a couple of them win photo contests and be published in nature magazines.

    • Thank you so much Cheryle. We are going to Mexico and Europe this year so I have closed my Art fire studio and will put my etsy shop on vacation. You can follow along at seniorgapyear.wordpress.com I would really love it if you did. I will be sharing lots of photos and how to do a senior gap year in that blog.
